| Unarmed Robber Assaults Ann Arbor Resident |

An Ann Arbor woman was robbed this morning at approximately 3AM on the 1100 block of Prospect, near Packard and East University, while she was walking with a friend. According to the University of Michigan Police, an unknown suspect pushed the woman to the ground, stole her purse, then fled on foot. A crime report on the incident identified the suspect as a black male, 5'10, 170 pounds with short hair, who was wearing a light brown puffy jacket.
The Ann Arbor Police Department had not made any arrests this afternoon. But an officer told WOLV-TV that investigators did not believe the case to be connected to any other crime. The Ann Arbor Police were unable to say whether the victim was a student.
